Len Funk and Phil Turner join Mike Hayton in being awarded the 'Fellowship of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine' FFSEM (UK)

Orthteam members have successfully treated 14 athletes who have qualified to compete in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing  

Orthteam shoulder surgeons are first to provide outpatient ultrasound scanning at The Alexandra Hospital. 

• With the development of new dedicated consulting rooms at The Alexandra Hospital, Orthteam surgeons are able to offer immediate ultrasound scanning of the shoulder problem at the time of first consultation.  This has huge advantages for patients by providing an immediate definitive diagnosis and thus plans for treatment.  Patients do not need to return for a separate visit just for a scan.  It speeds up the diagnostic process and improves accuracy of diagnosis of conditions such as rotator cuff tears.
